Fresh Street Market located in Fleetwood Village at southwest corner of Fraser Highway at 160 St. From Hwy. #1 (East); take exit 50 (South); Take 160 St (south) to Fraser Hwy; Turn right on Fraser Highway and left on Venture Way/159th St, then left into Mall parking lot.
Serpentine Hills walks starts at the parking lot at on 96th Ave and 172 St.
Godwin Park walk starts at the parking lot near the off lease dog area on 168 St, north of 96 Ave.
Description
There are four routes, two with reverse routes.
Two routes require participants to register at Fresh Street Market then drive to the start. The first is in Serpentine Hills Parking lot on 96 Ave @ 172 St and the second is at the parking lot at 10110 168th St, north of 96th Ave. The first walk follows trails within Tynehead Regional Park with a salmon hatchery. The park is located along the Serpentine River, a unique salmon spawning river. The trails in the park are gravel or bark mulch with some minor hills. The second walk takes you south to Godwin Farm Biodiversity Preserve Park.
The third route to Surrey Lake, follows residential streets to Fleetwood Park, alongside Fleetwood Creek & Bear Creek to Surrey Lake on the Surrey Lake Greenway.
The fourth route, starts at Fresh Street Market & walks through residential area to Tynehead Park.
Washrooms available at Start/Finish & in the parks. There are also three 5km and one 7 km routes available.
