Canada Day 4

Surrey Trekkers group walks are offered on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and most Statutory Holidays. Registration is between 09:30 – 09:50 with the walk start time at 10:00 am. Note: June through August walks may start at 9:00 am so review the schedule under the WALKS tab.

Route directions and maps are available by request at surreytrekkersbc@gmail.com or at the walk.

The Surrey Trekkers Volksport Club is a friendly walking club where everyone is welcome. We have a proud heritage as an associate of International Volkssporting with regularly scheduled walks throughout the Lower Mainland. Most walks can be reached using public transit.

The walks are generally 5 km and 10 km through parks and interesting neighbourhoods. With a diversity of members, conversations while walking are wide and varied.

Following walks, walkers often gather for a social lunch at a nearby establishment. Periodically our club gathers for BBQs and Christmas dinner combined with a walk.

Volkssporting is fun while providing fitness and new friendships.

We are keen to meet new walkers.

We encourage you to come to one of our walks to see for yourself. Just identify yourself as a new walker when you arrive at the sign-in desk.

Membership

For Membership inquiries contact our Membership Coordinator, Mary at: surreytrekkersbc@gmail.com. The annual cost of membership is either $15 per year, $5 on or after October 1st or $65 per calendar year where this covers the membership of $15 and $50 for all Permanent Trail, Mid-Seasonal and Short Seasonal walks during 2026. (Map Walks will still be $2 each.). As a new walker your first 5 walks are free to give you an opportunity to see if this organization is what you are looking to join. After your first 5 walks, individual walks for Permanent Trails (PT) are $1.00 and for Map Walks (MW), $2.00. These nominal fees cover the costs of maintaining our local, provincial, national and international walks. Click here for membership form.
